So for you guys that have had these for years... Did you have the bedrug exposed or under a tonneau? If exposed, how did they look after getting dirty and rained on? How did the bed look underneath? (after many years)

My Bedrug was on my 2007 since new, I added the tonneau in 2012. I was not gentle with mine, carried dirt, landscape gravel, and even a slide-in Palamino camper on and off many times. It was not exposed to the sun a great deal, but it did fade slightly to the gray side compared to my new one. Held up great except for one tear over the wheelwell from sliding in the camper one time. I backed the tear with Gorilla Tape and it's never been a problem. Underneath now, the bed looks like new. It really is a great product IMHO.

I had a retrax covering mine from day 1 (March 2007 till now). I used it but did not abuse it and it has held up great. Love the way you just shop vac it out and it looks great. I have no idea what the bed looks like underneath as I have not looked. I am waiting on my new one for 2015 to arrive.

Just a real quick question about the LED light. I really cant tell from your photo, but how flush does the liner sit against the edge of the light? Is there a gap? Are you concerned that the edge will fray? If there is a gap, does it effect (or is that affect) how much light it projects into the bed?

I am really close to doing the same thing. I apreciate your info!
Thanks!

How do these dry out after a car wash? I live on a gravel road and get a lot of dust in my bed even with a cover. Thanks!

The Bedrug comes with plenty of Velcro so I cut a couple of pieces and installed next to the lights to hold the cover close to the bed. No problem with light into the bed and the fabric is very tightly woven... can't imagine it will fray.

I ran mine through a car wash regularly for 5 years before getting a tonneau cover. It drains out quickly, then I'd usually leave it out in the sun for a couple of hours and it would be good to go.

Can the bedrug be used in combination with a hard bedliner?

Did you cut out for the switch?

I installed my bedrug over the weekend. The cutouts were pretty well aligned with the LEDs and switch. I cut the markings for the switch, which resulted in making a flap in the bedrug that articulated in when pressing the button. I think I could have left the bedrug intact there and pressed the switch through the bedrug if I had wanted to.
