BakFlip VP over 6.5 bed with ramps
Got my Bakflip VP Wednesday. Installed Thursday. Took all of 45 minutes. My 2015 King Ranch came with the ramps installed. In order to fit the VP I had to remove the prop rod mounting brackets. Modification of brackets will come later. Other than that the fit over the ramps is perfect.

Installed mine in about an hour. Rails were pre shimmed. I opted not to install drain tubes. I'm satisfied. Low pro and secure. Looks sharp. Haven't water tested but a little water doesn't bother me.

Received and installed my Bak Flip VP Friday. Wasn't a difficult install. Seems like everything fit correctly. I also did not install the drain tubes. Waiting to see if I need them. I like the look. Time will tell how water tight it is.

Is it possible to close the tailgate with the VP tonneau closed?
Or are you forced to open the tonneau in order to close the tailgate like the advertisements show...
I recently traded my 2011 that had a Roll X tonneau. My cover sat a touch high which allowed me to open/close the tailgate without opening the tonneau and I am wondering if I could do the same with the VP since I have the shorter bed and haul dirt bikes.
Thanks

The picture is a bit dark at the bulkhead. Does your Fibermax have D-rings or strap attachments? Also, if you still have the box, what is the date of manufacture (which is on a sticker that's on one end of the box)? Thanks!
