Same problem on my 2015 it has done the same thing a dozen times. I have had to remote start the truck two times before I could even get in once. Ten miles down the road the door before the door would shut.

I have been having this problem since the first week I owned my truck. They've ordered me new latches as the TSB didnt work.

For anyone who's curious, I am able to get my door to latch by pressing the lock button over and over again until the door lock pin goes down.

When my door wont latch the door lock is stuck too. It is always stuck up and I cant even push it down by hand if I try. Pressing the lock button over and over until it locks, then unlocking it will the get the latch working again. Maybe this will help others out that get stuck with an open door. I know it's been handy or me to do this when I'm just getting to work on time and don't have a spare minute to waste on a door that wont latch.

Hoping Ford comes out with a fix soon.

Hi Nad, you described my experience exactly. They are installing my new latches on Friday, Saturday it's going to be in the single digits so I'll let everyone know if this is the magic bullet.

Make sure you wash it on the way home from the dealer.

this just won't end. Front drivers door. Replaced latch, TSB 3 times now. The lock works, I just cant get the door to latch shut in the cold if you open it from inside. Slammed it 6 times before it would catch. Believe me I have done everything. Opening from outside, get in, shuts fine. Open from inside to get out then can't shut it. Going to go look at PowerWagons tonight. Dealer does not know what to do anymore. Ford is clueless. I won't lemon it. I will just quietly move on. Go to make new friends at Chrysler. Bye.

LOL, dealer usually washes it whenever it goes in for service, usually for the doors unfortunately.

But they might of figured out that water causes the problem and wash it before doing the latches this time.

We shall see. I'm hopefull that the latches will fix it, but it appears this hasn't been the case for Kevininchicago.

Taking a wild guess,, I have never seen the inside of my door, from what he has posted,,, sounds like the cable from the inside handle to the latch is getting water into it. And freezing.. Not the latch
