Bad bad door latches

Bad locks
Both of my Screw rear doors did this this morning. I'm down in central illinois as well. The rear driver wouldn't open at all, the rear passenger opened but then wouldn't latch shut. Had to drive the wife's car to work after I used a tie down to keep rear passenger door closed while I was at work. Of course they worked when I got home after it had warmed up. I took it into the dealer anyway in hopes they will find a fix for it since it's not even very cold yet.

Happened to me this morning... It was 9 degrees... Driver door unlocked... It was a little frozen when I opened it.. Then when I got in and tried to shut door it wouldn't latch... My wife was already gone so I had no choice but to drive to work holding my driver door closed... After about 10 minutes of driving, I tried it and it latched... .. Nice way to start the morning...

Dry and cold they may work. Moist then cold they don't. I expect things to work on a new truck. Maybe not new technology items but things that have been around for years should work (like door locks) especially on Ford's moneymaker.

They ordered new locks for me as well. Also doing the glove box fix and upgrading my upper stop lamp to the LED version since I had the melting housing. Hopefully the new locks work once they get installed.
