Backseats wont lock into down position?

Little kids should be in a child seat, which itself is anchored by an anchor system designed specifically for that. You'd think if the "unlockable" seats were an issue, the crash tests would have shown, no?

They do lock in down position
Mine did the same thing today. They locked in down position and now they won't. Now the seat is sitting about an inch higher than the passenger side too. Something is wrong with the latch.

If they don't lock down then there must be some quality issue or defect because on several occasions my seats have locked down and I had to pull the latch to bring them up, not always but once in a while they lock down so not sure if that's supposed to happen or not.

Screw rear seats, Dont and Arent suppose to lock in the down position.
If yours do, take it to your dealer, theres a Issue, if thyre locked in the down (seating) position!

My '16 SuperCab locks positively UP. But in the down it also kinda locks. Its not as positive as when up. Its more of a catch. You can lift it without pulling the handle. But it's harder to lift and you can definitely feel a "hump" when the latch let's go. If I pull the handle first then it raises smoothly and easily. No handle pull and it's stiff then rolls up like a cam rolling over.

Rear seats in the screw only lock in the up position, they do not lock down. The backs have a latch that can be activate to pull the backs forward, for access behind the seat back.
