Got my gear change completed yesterday, PCM adjusted and picked her up today. 3.31 to 3.55. Now I can die a happy man, poor but happy. I can't really test her out out until the break in period is over but I notice a huge change. Steady power from the get go, shift points much, much better, instantly responsive now without having to pound the peddle. I only have 33.5" tires but between them and the new rims I may have added 18 to 20 lbs per wheel and I felt the drop off the minute they went on. I am glad to have the pep I had when she was stock. Now of course I'll think about a real tune for a few months.

I have the 3.55. Could I take the truck to the dealer and have them change to 3.73?

What'd they wind up charging for labor? Just curious if you don't mind.

I'm hearing some peoples dealers won't, my dealer would but I went with a custom guy to do the job.
