Apparently I have a trailer light out. I know this because...
my truck told me. A THOUSAND TIMES.
OK, maybe fifty.
It throws a warning with audible ding in the dashboard display. 'OK' it. 'OK' it again. Next bend in the road, it tells me the same thing. Again, and again, and again.
It was a 75 minute drive, on the highway, at night. I wasn't about to pull over and fix it on the side of the road.
I KNOW!
Is there a way to at least disable the audible ding of the trailer light warning??
I swear, I'm getting it fixed. Next thing you know this system will be narc'ing on me to the RMV for improper equipment, and the state will just send me a ticket. Sigh... Skynet is coming.

I had that problem too the first time or two I pulled my boat. I had a LED tail light going bad that worked intermittently. I replaced it and replaced the pigtail that connects to the truck and my problems were solved. My truck was showing trailer connected, then disconnected, then connected...........and when it was connected, the tail light wasn't working.....just about wore out the "ok" button. Hope this helps
