Mine ran out on its own with no warning on the screen. I knew it was going to though. I bought it on 12/31 and i think it expired on 7/2. Im going to call tomorrow and see what kind of deal i can get.

I just hope they don't screw something up and end up getting rid of the traffic and weather that we get for 5 yrs. Knowing them they will probably figure out a way to screw it up lol.

I won't be renewing, not impressed at all by such a sluggish service. I get a long 'loading...' message every time I want to change channels. Very cumbersome interface when compared to Pandora and Spotify.

I have paid $25 for 5 months for years. Just let it expire and XM will call and spam my email with please come back offers within days of cancelling. Go to Best Buy or Best Buy Online and get an XM Gift Card to pay. Never ever ever give XM your credit card # or access to a bank account. They will also reluctantly send you a bill but charge a $2 fee. They do not send the bill until after your $25 deal runs out and it will be full price. Always cancel service just before or on the date your $25 deal runs out.

I've done the $25 for 5 months thing for years on various vehicles too. Just keep saying no and they'll offer it.

All channels and Internet streaming for about $10 a month. It was cheaper when I was in a honda because of the radio brand. Stupidest reason I ever heard! Its the same damn company. They want to charge extra for stern. Stern? This is 2015 not 2005. I need my opie radio and bring back mr. Cumia! Could have been cheaper but for the Internet radio and opie radio.

I won't renew either. Matter of fact I will probably disconnect the antenna and be done with it. I don't sync my phone either. I don't need the truck taking over the phone as soon as I get in the truck... I hate that. I leave the bluetooth off on the radio.

It will be way more fun to hack the nav mytouch system with the lockpick or something similar.

I was wondering if they had a customer retention system like that. I just picked up the truck but we already like several stations... And they come in over some pretty barren terrain where nothing else is available, a great bonus.

I always tell them to cancel and when you get the cancellation agent they can normally come up with a "special" deal for you. (typically ~$5/month for 5 months or $80/year) They do of course make you jump through a few hoops but juts be persistent!

There are a few good stations. I renew when I get the 25 for 5 deals. The wife likes it too.

on my Camaro I am paying $25 for 6 months. I just get the music though, no Stern or sports. Just call the day it expires and tell them to cancel because the renewel is too expensive. They will offer the lower rate to you.

I just cancelled service on my 14 that I traded in. After the 6 months free trial on the 15 expires, I was quoted $242 for all access for 1 year. Got a note on my calender to cancel one week before the trail ends. Then wait for the emails to start coming..
