anyone install an LED bar behind the XLT chrome grille?
Just saw another member post about his LED bar behind a sport grille and it reminded me that I'd like to get some additional light out of my truck.
My truck's an XLT with the appearance pack and chrome grille. It's a lease, so I don't want to hack up the grille and such, but it looks like there might be room to make it happen. XLTs wouldn't have the active grille shutters to contend with like the higher models so I wonder if the F150LEDs bracket for the 14s would work.
There should easily be room enough for a 30" bar behind the XLT grille, I just wonder how output would be affected because I haven't really looked into it too seriously. Has anyone put one in yet?

Active grille shutters are on Ecoboost models, regardless of trim.

We carry really nice LED light bars with a wire harness that is all made-up for you guys.
The harness includes the relay that comes pre-wired for you and also a nice switch to put in the cab.
If anyone has questions about them I can help you out. Here's a link to them if you would like to see what we have to offer.
