Default Anyone gonna try the F150LEDs interior ambient LED kit?

I've seen the cupholder lights on their site, but the full interior kit has been showing as "coming soon" for a long time - today it finally came out.

Looks pretty cool - and I've seen the install videos for the previous gen F150s and that looks pretty easy.

Curious if anyone else is thinking of trying it. I know I would def only want it on when the doors are open - dont want bright @$$ lights shining under the seats when i am driving at night.

I'll be interested to see the setup of this, how easy it is. I'm not really wanting to splice into power, etc. I'm definitely interested and have been watching to see when they'd finally release this.

I agree i wouldnt splice into any existing wires, but I would be fine tapping into the fuse box and it sounds like that's how they do it.

There's no manual on the site... Seems nice though, and they say it includes a harness so I assume it just plugs into something somewhere. However, I would also only want it to come on when the interior lights are on. I would hate it to be on all the time and have to manually turn it on and off...

I'm looking at purchasing this. and would attempt to connect it to the factory harness to be on when lights are on and when doors are open.

In the description, it says that you can control the colour and intensity of the lights.

That's all good, but I wouldn't want to use a remote to adjust anything all the time. Just full-bright when the doors are open, and off when the interior lights are off (ie when driving). Easy as that.
