Default Anyone add/install OEM in-dash trailer brake?

Anyone install their own OEM trailer brake? I need one and I figured oem would be best. Tips, tricks and suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

Ryan

Wait what? They broke it trying to get it in? Are you saying I should install it myself? Seems like it just goes in place of the little card holder slot under the 4wd control.

Yea not bad to do at all and works great, well integrated. My dealer didn't charge me to turn it on but they was also installing remote start that was included as part of the deal when I bought the truck

What does dealer charge for part? It's like $120 on eBay.

Correct. They broke the bezel it fits in and left pry marks on my dash while trying to pop out the center section on top of dash.
