Ford came seriously late to the game when it came to a heated steering wheel on the F-150, a pretty basic feature found on most new vehicles and particularly useful to truck owners who actually do work with their trucks. It was one of the reasons why I did not even consider Ford when I first started shopping for a new light truck in 2013.

I've lived in Canada for 65 years now, and much of it north of the 53rd. Don't take it so seriously. It was a joke.
That said, I would not put a heated steering wheel all that high on my priority list. Perhaps on a sled, or bike, but in a heated vehicle?? What happened to the days when, you rode to work on tires that went thump thump for the first 5 miles because they went square overnight in the -40 weather? And you didn't turn the corner too fast or the tires would come right off the shrunken rims. And you had to put frost shields on the rear window, and depending on where you lived on the front side windows as well.

Especially popping tires off the bead in an emergency manoeuvre, scary stuff and makes me thankful for the advancements that have been made!
