Any Canadians order a 2015 F150???
Just wondering who has ordered yet? Any pricing compared to previous generation trucks? My dealer tells me that the price is full retail on a order right now. Obviously pushing the numerous 14's at the moment. They also mentioned that a platinum trim is 7k more expensive option for option in a 15' vs 14'. Any insight would be appreciated.

The "option for option" statement is quite a bit off though. Just to name a few, the 2014 is not available with a panoramic sunroof, 360 degree camera, power lock/unlock and power release tailgate, multicontour (massaging) front seats, heated steering wheel, LED cargo box lighting, active park assist, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping etc. Yes, the 2015 platinum is more expensive, but you get a quite a bit for the increase in price.

Well, there are no rebates or other incentives on the 2015 at the moment. So that much is certainly true. The 2015 Platinum loaded will sticker around 72K, vs 65K for the 2014, so that is about 7,000 more.

You're absolutely right. I looked at the lariat 502A + a few options like sunroof, power running boards and stuff vs platinum and its a $6200 difference for not that much more. I mean the standard options on platinum are all the options I took on the lariat anyway. Given, the platinum looks killer, but not justified at $6k

Not sure what part of Canada you live in, but don't they sell gloves?

Gloves are banned in Canada by the rcmp. They hide finger prints.

Pfft, whatever Ron AKA. The picture below is from my work this past winter. I live in the Prairies and this is my current truck, which I actually use for work. I'm not sure what part of Canada YOU live in but sounds like you maybe don't experience Canadian winters in the same manner as some of us do.
The discussion was about option variance between Lariat vs Platinum compared to price. My comment on the heated steering wheel is only my preference and a higher rated option in my environment. I was only speaking for myself and not other Canadians. Maybe try, and post something constructive next time MR. Ron AKA.
