Ambient Lighting

Ambient Lighting
So I have done some digging and could not find any discussion regarding ambient lighting on 2015+ model F150s. I saw that F150LEDS.com has a package coming out soon that does 5 zone interior lighting.
Has anyone heard anything about this or had previous experience with them?
Also, I see they have a cupholder and shifter lighting. Is it just me missing something or is it really weird that there is no shifter on their website pics of the cupholder lighting?
Any other tips or suggestions on adding aftermarket interior lighting would be appreciated!

I have f150.com's cup holder and shifter kit and I love it. It was something that I wish my truck would have came with so when I found it, I jumped on it and I'm glad I did. When their 5 zone kit come out, I'm going to get that as well.

I put an opt 7 kit in mine.
Glow white when I open the door, and back to the last color when closed. Wired them so they only come on in low lighting.
The f150leds kit is EL wire I believe. I bought some from these guys and did my 2013 with it. Much cheaper with more options if you want.

I was following this as well. I was going to just do the console kit but I'm waiting to find out more on the 5 zone from f150leds.com.
There are some center consoles that come with the shifter and some come with the console with the shifter on the steering colum. It just gives you an extra storage cubby with the console shifter delete. I like mine on the center console.......easy to keep my thumb ready to select angry I mean sport mode.

My only tip is to be sure to hide the wires and make it a clean as possible wires.

this, they are an led that slip onto the end of a rod that glows, so no doors cup holders and upper dash

see here
the oem footwell lights are available to purchase and fit into a pre existing slot under the dash it has been discovered that two different lights will clip in there, one the oem led ( I'm currently unaware of a way to control them without the 8" screen and it already being programmed ) the other is incandescent that still needs to be hardwired, the cup holder light is also available but i do not think the slot exists in xlt cup holders and we need to figure out how to control it as well.
