Default Ambient interior lights

Does anyone know how to disable the the darn ambient lights in the truck . I know you can change the colors but with 35% tint on the windows it's like a carnival of lights. If I have to use tape to cover it up on a $60,000 truck....

On the screen where you select colours, there is a power button.

No power switch on the 2016 Ford F-150 Lariat with 502a pkg. you tap a color twice and it returns to the alignment of the other colors and it fades out. Omg this change is a game changer. No reflections within the truck interior as a distraction. Cool at first but why can't it just fade after you open/close the door? Or better yet when you open the center console or glove compartment.

Lightning is no available on XLT. You would need to add it aftermarket.

Just for the record, that is NOT the same kit that comes factory. Thats just a couple of cheesy bars and a drill in led for the cupholder. I wouldn't install it if they gave it to me IMO. The factory system is a different story, however. It is very nice but would probably cost $1,000 ++ for all of the parts.
