I have a question, in the ordering manual on here it says for an xlt you need 302a to get a 36 gallon or 136 liter fuel tank, is that new? Or does anyone know in canada if all 4x4 non-reg cab short wheel base trucks come with a 136 liter tank? The Canadian ford website doesn't mention extended range is optional, it just lists it for 4x4s and lists 87 liters for 4x2s. I may be thinking too hard but the big tank is a must for me but I just want a more plain jane xlt, no backup cameras or anything...

Isn't there a thread with a checklist of things to review when you go to pick up your truck (rust, door alignment, etc.)? That would be good for this thread.

The order guide on here is for US trucks. Canadian trucks have different packaging options. In Canada, crewcab, 4x4, shortbox automatically gets you 136 litre tank. Make sure you build and price off Ford.ca or download the Canadian brochure for option packaging.

There should be a link to a thread that is a checklist of what to watch for on picking up your new truck.

Going with this one GOBLUEJD, it has a pretty solid list of current April items.

Hi,

you may want to update the cotus link to http://www.cotus.ford.com
dropping the qa. I assume qa is the test site which has for me been sporadic in its responses.
