The one in the hole adjusts the light up and down(vertical) that's all there is to adjust and it takes a lot of turns to accomplish something that can be seen.

I put LED bulbs in my halogen housings and basically had to bottom out my vertical adjustment (this was after baking my lights too though). I think they turned out ok.

And this is why LED bulbs belong in LED housings and Halogen bulbs belong in halogen housings.

I'm not shouting...just emphasizing...

YOU CANNOT PUT LED BULBS IN HALOGEN HOUSINGS...

...without blinding your fellow motorists.

I think this is bull****. My headlights are just fine once they were adjusted.

How to get rich... Buy a boat load of LED headlights from China. Sell them to people who were either too cheap or could not afford the real LEDs from factory. Make them (buyers) believe they are just as good as factory units with halogen housings. There is a reason that factory LEDs and HIDs cost what they do. Don't you think if it was as easy and cheap as some make it out to be that Ford would do the same? Famous last words..."they look and work fine". They always do ...from the drivers seat! How about to oncoming traffic? My advice...do it right or not at all. Save your money! If you have halogen lights, buy a good quality halogen bulb.

Yeah I had someone drive by me in my own truck so that I could see what it is like. When you adjust them properly it is not the exaggerated effect that you and others claim.

Anybody find an answer for this? I have the same problem with mine where I try to turn the adjuster but the gears just skip. It's like there's a locking mechanism that needs to be released first...

Use a Phillips No. 2. You might have to slightly lean the screw driver a bit to help engage the gears. it's not a very refined system, but it works. There is nothing that needs to be released.

Yeah I have adjusted mine as I felt they were aimed too low so I aimed them higher. I put Phillips screwdriver into that middle slot and turned. At first it didn't want to turn the gears but then I turned a bit more with a bit more force. When they finally started to move I thought it was gonna break. Wouldn't recommend it when it is cold out though. And I went the wrong way at first. Counter clockwise to raise them, it did take quite a lot of adjustment to get them to raise up.
