Aiming/Adjusting Headlights on 2016
Just purchased the low beam, high beam, and fog light LED's from 4x4 LED's and was looking for some advice on how to aim and adjust the headlights after I complete the install.

Aiming/Adjusting Headlights on 2016
I went around and around with aiming. I ended up adjusting them just below my tape at 25 feet. My driveway slopes a bit so when it's on level it's a bit lower yet. I may be too low. I drove around trying to see if anyone was annoyed, even asked some people I was following and everyone seemed fine with them. I still may take it and have them professionally checked.

In the manual it says :
Measure the height from the center of your headlamp (indicated by a 3.0 millimeter circle on the lens)
Maybe I'm blind, but I could not see a 3mm circle on either lens. What am I missing?

Neither could I, but I think you just measure from the Center of the specific lights beam pattern or lens

My tried and true method for aiming headlights (been doing it this way for years):
1. Once a day, crank each light adjuster up 1/4 turn (or some small increment).
2. Drive around at night.
3. If no one flashes at you, repeat steps 1 and 2. When folks start flashing at you, go to step 4.
4. Back off on the adjustments 1 increment.
It's amazing how far out you can put the light without bothering other drivers.

You might not have the LED's clocked properly. Make sure they are pointing exactly left and right. (2 sided bulbs)
What LED's did you buy, incidentally? The ones that the sponsor here sells (I think he's 4x4truckLED) Are adjustable. As are the newest Putco's.
