Default Aftermarket Wheels

Now that I have my truck ordered, its time to start looking at some aftermarket wheels.

I ordered the tri coat platinum, and really like the black wheels that have brushed steel accents.

What do you all prefer on white trucks?

I like all black...white accents could look good in moderation on the right wheel and truck.

With Oxford white I would go black rims, but tricoat I would go chrome or machined.

These KMC XD series are my faves. There should be some posts around that you can see the Addict's on a white truck, its what inspired me to put them on my black truck. I think they look great on both colors. But that rockstar ii (wheel on left) would look pretty bad azz I think. On the XD Addicts the only downside where I might not get them again is cleaning around the faux bolts. Rockstar II looks like it'd be easier to clean.

I've thought about after market wheels, but just a question. I was told once to be careful about which wheels to put on a truck since it may affect the torque. I know diddly squat about it, but the dude sounded convincing. Is there any truth to being careful about after market wheels? A lot of guys seem like they're well educated on that stuff here, so looking for a simple answer to a novice.

Yes , If you put a heavier than stock wheel and tire setup it will affect performance. How much depends on engine option, gear ratio etc..

I put 34.5 m/t tires on my ecoboost with 3.55 gears and couldnt hardly tell a diffeence.

Then I went up to 37's same 3.55 could tell a more noticably difference but it still has plenty of power and tq to pull my boat and cut 0-60 times in high 6 sec range

Geez, you guys post some ugly *** wheels. A $40,000 truck and ya'll want to put $199 wheels from Discount Tire on it. Oh, and by all means go with the Rockstar II. NOBODY, I mean NOBODY has those, amirite?
