It looks like I will probably have to go to a Screw (KR or Platty) so there is no way to transfer it.

It will be the first accessory I order.

For 5+ years I have stood on it to wash the roof. Put plywood, OSB, 2x4's, bags of cement on it and it still looks great. Even the Las Vegas sun can't fade aluminum.

And really, doesn't an aluminum truck deserve an aluminum cover? LOL.

Have you had any problems with water intrusion?

Also, All Hat-why wouldnt you be able to transfer your cover?
Going from Scab 6.5 bed to Screw 5.5 bed.

Screw with 6.5 is too long for my garage.

Ahh makes sense. A 6.5 screw just barely fits in mine (24' depth).

Well, that has never been a big issue here, because we get less than 4" of rain a year, about 1.82" so far this year at the airport.

But, on the few trips where we ran into rain, and through the Sam's Club carwash and my driveway car washing, it has been a non-issue.

The trick is to put a 500 watt work light in the bed, and turn off the garage lights. If light gets out, water can get in. I also sealed all the drain holes in the bed with clear silicone, and added gasketing around the tailgate. Ford obviously did not make that waterproof. What would be the point.

Anyway, our fabric luggage, garment bags, etc. have stayed dry on every trip.

Between that, and the strong security, as I said, my first accessory.

Curious if the mounting hardware is the same as 09-14 on the BakFlip models?

Bought my roll-x online for $700. I will install it when I pick up my truck tomorrow and post some pics. It was listed for $899 but there was room in there at autoanything.com

Any one think a bed cover on my current 2011 5.5ft box would fit a new 2015 f150 with same box?

I do know that the Bakflips have a different part number from the 11-14's and the 15's. Maybe the box dimension is the same but maybe under the rail mounting is different.

I talked to BakFlip a couple weeks ago and they told me that the Box dimensions have changed and the one from my 2013 will not fit. "I'm still gonna give it a try. If anyone with a new 2015 tries this let us know!! My new truck will not be here until Feb.

By the way I have a BakFlip VP and will get another one n a heartbeat. Looks very clean
I have never got a drop of water in it, even during some bad rain and snow storms.
The only drawback is that it seals so tight on my tailgate, on real code days after a carwash it freezes the seal to the tailgate.
