Default Adaptive Learning

On all the threads there is a lot of talk about the 2015's use of adaptive learning on driving performance, transmission, etc. If somebody REALLY knows, as opposed to speculation, I would like some details about how this works. Not necessarily the deep technical details but covering stuff like:

1) Some days i'm in a gas saving chill mode, some days I like to put in Sport mode and drive like a bat outta hell.

2) I was once told by a very trustworthy mechanic to run a tank of Shell V-Power through the engine. Best thing possible for the engine.

plus other combination and permutations of driving 2wd, 4wd, etc.

So is the adaptive learning smart enough to sort all this out on the fly, or am I just confusing the hell out of the trucks brain!

Unless you have a tune for 93 there is no need at all to run 93.

Active learning does adjust shifting firmness, throttle delay, etc

the learning process is a "long-term" thing, as in it won't change instantly just because you put your foot down. That's what Sport Mode is for

but, what do I REALLY know?...
