Default 5.0 Tune - Where y'all at?

All you see is the stupid 2.7 tunes and 3.5. I feel like the 5.0 has fallen off the face of the earth. Who's got a 5.0 tune? any videos? I figured by now there would be a lot more hype and people trying to keep the V8's alive.

Same here I have a 5.0 I have been wondering how much HP difference is between the 5 star and Diablo sport tunes? I've seen some Dino sheets from 5 star but no actual numbers and I've seen numbers from Diablo but no Dino sheets.

Default 5.0 Tune - Where y'all at?

I've had two 5.0's tuned by 5Star and its worth it. I pull heavy and the 87 performance tow stays in my truck most of the time. When unloaded pop it in sport and the truck flies. I also have the e85 race and its a beast.

I have a 5 star tune in my 13 RCSB, and it's well worth it. Whole new personality. I hope to get to the track again soon.

We have a killer tune available for the 2015 F-150 5.0. All customer feedback has been phenomenal so far, and a couple guys have posted feedback on here as well. To be honest I think most of our 5.0 L customers are not big on message boards compared to our EcoBoost customers.

Here is some info and a dyno sheet since someone mentioned not seeing both from many companies.

The 87 octane performance tune is good for maximum gains of over 20hp and 13tq. Our 93 octane tuning sees maximum gains over 30hp and 32tq! In addition to these performance enhancements, we also spent a great deal of time improving throttle response, part throttle shifting, and working to ensure our updates play well in all 3 driving modes. Coupled with the performance upgrade, these drivability changes make the truck feel greatly improved in day to day usage.

As with all of our previous tuners, your purchase today gains you access to all future updates and revisions!

I would assume this also voids warranty?

It would depend on your preferred Dealer. Some are mod friendly, others will try everything under the sun to void a warranty. In America, we have consumer protection stating that the burden of proof for voiding a warranty is on the manufacturer......that said, they have several high paid lawyers and engineers that will say you broke it not the machine broke.

The old saying of "you gotta pay to play" fits here. If you modify anything on your truck, you should be prepared to fight a warranty battle if the case comes up.

For sure, but if you were taking it in for servcie just put it back to stock specs. Getting one of these is on my to do list, along with wheel and tires, and a catback exhaust to make the truck at least sound a bit mean.

It should also be mentioned that if you're worried about the factory warranty, there is a tuner that offers a warranty in conjunction with their tunes. I believe it's Stage3Motorsports and 5* tuning that have come up with a joint venture for added protection. That's not to say the other tuners wouldn't make you happier, it's just that they are the only ones to offer a warranty so far.
