I have the back up camera on my truck and I would never rely on a camera to tell my if a child is behind the truck, I would rather us my eyes.

Your eyes cannot see directly behind the truck while at the wheel. Camera can.

My cat likes to walk directly behind my vehicle to escort me as I back away from the garage. She and any other living thing or obstacle is clearly (as in HD) visible to me...I will never be without a rear view camera again, no matter the cost. In addition to your sight, the system gives audible warnings.
