Happens on occasion in my 16 Lariat. The map goes completely black and has the spinning blue circle.

Is that 7:08PM? I wonder if the the screen reverses color at night. I actually haven't taken notice on mine yet.

I'm thinking when it detects it's night time out, it flips to a darker scheme to cut down on light in the cabin for night time. I could be wrong, maybe someone else can chime in whose had their truck longer than 48 hours...

That is correct, it goes to a dark theme unlike Stync 2 which really doesnt do much.

I've had the Nav go a little crazy once...

While using the Nav, I had an icon appear showing a "no GPS" (red circle with GPS crossed out) on the screen.. Nav continued to my location.. but the location of my truck was not exact... after visiting a store.. all was good again and never happened again.
