Why are some of you choosing to pay more for a 2016 and wait right now? Curious as to how you've justified it.

SYNC 3 is the answer for me, from everything I've read and everyone I've talked to it will be a game changer for sure.

Because there's not a 2015 on the lot within 1000 miles of me EXACTLY like I want. And I've waited this long anyway, why not get a 2016 with the SYNC3? I drive stuff until the wheels pretty much fall off so I want to be happy with my purchase - price or not.

Sync 3 is a big one for me. MyFord Touch is essentially dead and I plan on having the truck for ~7 years. Android Auto is a big deal to me and will only come to Sync 3.

I want 501A with Sony audio, extended fuel tank, tow mirrors, tailgate step, etc. Getting a specific truck is pretty tough in my area so I would have to order anyway. I might as well wait a little bit longer and get a 2016.

It also isn't really hardly any more money either. There are usually almost no rebates on Lariat or above at any given time.

So to sum: wait a few more months to get exactly what I want and pay almost the same price. As a bonus, I'll get trailer backup assist and some of the issues that cropped up in the 2015 MY will be fixed.

It's funny. I've been searching and haven't made a decision yet.
Would today be a great day to get a deal on a 2015?
It's last day of the month and I want a Lariat.

But it seems as though I might as well wait with all the stuff I'm reading.

The last day of the month is ALWAYS a great time to buy - if it's a rainy Friday last day of the month it's even better. Be aggressive though - they'd like you to think it's no big deal (being the end of the month) but it *IS* a big deal.

same thing for me. Sync 3 since I will own for 5-7 years. Plus the opportunity to knock out some of the kinks. I will still get below invoice price on the Lariat so price will be about the same. I know it will be more but not by that much. I'm in no big hurry.
