So, I assume nobody with a 2016 Lariat Sport on order has gotten a build date yet? I was told by my dealer that they will not start being build until Job 2 (1/4/16), which seems to line up with the earlier posted link. But, has anyone gotten a VIN assigned yet on a 2016 Lariat Sport order?

How about this question... has ANYONE gotten ANY Job 2 build date for ANY 2016 F-150 trim level (post 1/4/16)? Just curious if they don't assign any Job 2 build dates until a certain date?

I stopped by the dealer I ordered from today to get an update. There is no longer a material hold on the 2016 Lariat Sports and everything is supposed to be on track for January. The dealer accidentally ordered a 2015 F150 the same way I ordered my 2015 so I took it for a drive. Love at first WOT.

My dealer had a Lithium Grey XLT Sport. Very nice color.

That's good to know. Hope it holds true. Just hope there isn't a hold up when it's time to transport like the other guys with the Lariats.

Very good information here. I was wondering why I was starting to see XLT sports pop up at dealers but no Lariats.

I ordered on 10/14 and haven't received a VIN yet either FWIW.

As stated earlier, my XL Sport order was officially placed on Nov 6th. The Build date is listed as 11.30.0002, whatever that is supposed to mean. But I presume Nov 30th. I called Ford about the $1000 coupon and they told me the delivery date is Dec 20th. That seems a might early from what I've heard from all of you.

I have the VIN # (1FTEX1CP5GKD21871) and looked it up on COTUS, ETIS and the WindowSticker site. Never shows up on COTUS. Does show up on ETIS (where I got that weird date) and it does show up on the Window Sticker site. But as far as tracking its progression from conception to delivery... I dont see what that's done?

Just to give you guys an update... over on the 2016 Tracking thread it seems as if one of the guys got their VIN for a lariat sport. At least it seems like we starting to move along now
