Default 2016 rebates

What are the guesses for the rebates that will exist on 2016s when they are first delivered? Any educated guesses around here? Really hard trying to justify an extra 4-5k for a 2016 right now as much as I want sync 3 and my specific color.

Why would there be rebates on a brand new model year?

On a KR like I want, it won't make much of a difference as the rebate now is only 1500 vs 3750 (xlt)... :-/

I've asked this same question several times of dealers, an in-person 2015 owner and this forum. Only the person I directly spoke to actually answered it. Suddenly there are knowledgeable persons?

I know why there won't be rebates on the GM twins (models are effectively brand new in a wide-open segment). I have no idea at all what the historical incentives are for previous F150 model years at the beginning of a model year, nor for any full size truck. But seeing as how FS trucks are traditionally the most incentivized vehicles on the road, sure seems like a perfectly valid question to me, especially with the inception of the twins.

I agree completely. The 2016 mustangs already have a 500 rebate. Normally the trucks have a larger rebate. Is it out of the question to think there might be $1000, plus another 750 for ford credit standard rate financing?
