Yep, I agree and also couldn't understand the hate for it as well. I have had many compliments on mine. Could you imagine all of us with the SE option constantly telling others without this option how bad their trucks look! LOL! I don't hate the trucks without the SE option I just like something that is different even if it is just a appearance package.
I have to say that in the sea of F150's in the parking lot I have no trouble finding mine!!!
To be perfectly honest, I think the SE package with the red accents comes off as a little "ricer'ish." That's not to say that I hate it, in fact I like it. When you've got a lot of people buying chrome packages, useless bug / stone deflectors, impractical lifts, off road parts for trucks that never leave the pavement, smokers vent visors, and other questionable accessories you have to take that with a grain of salt. Personally I'd tell anyone who's got their ride so chromed out it looks like an immigrant worker's 1980's Chevrolet that's been inflicted with the JC Whitney disease to have a nice warm cup of shut the hell up. People need to keep in mind that beauty is entirely subjective.
In general I do like the SE package myself. It wasn't available though in 2015 or I might have purchased a truck with it myself. Having said that, I do think it's better without the red stripes, and I'm not a fan of the red grill accents. However, I do like the door graphics, badges and headlight assemblies.

That's pretty damn tacky now that we are talking about it. The "LIMITED" badging on the hood of the F150 Limited is by far the worst though. One thing I think people need to understand though is that posting pictures of your ride on a public forum invites criticisms or commentary which could be either negative or positive.

Indeed. The bull bar on my truck, or the fact that I didn't remove the FX4 stickers wouldn't be for everyone. The combination of mods and accessory choices makes my truck easy to spot. This was actually a bit of an issue because there is another Magnetic Metallic 2015+ F150 with the FX4 and sport appearance package at my work. Now telling them apart is easy with the new wheels, bull bar and chrome emblem replacements. There are also two more Magnetic F150's in my area. One of them is modified substantially appearance wise. There is another that's an XLT which is easy to spot. Lastly there is supposed to be a fifth one around here in the same color that travels to a lot of the same areas who's a member here. We've never run into each other though.
Try comparing model year to model year. The Chevy doesn't look that bad...

The XLT grille in a Lariat SE package really bothers me. Others are good especially the body stripes, exhaust tip, headlights and wheels. I don't know yet if the leather seat is thin. I wish I have a thicker leather in my Platinum brunello seats.
Went in to get an 5.0 XLT and ended up with loaded Lariat 3.5 ecoboost. Love all the new features. Not too sure about the stripes on the side of the body. I hate the regular lariat grille and i like the blacked out lights and se grille. Nothing added yet except bed liner and tonneau. Weathertech mudflaps on order.

I looked at all the colour combos for the lariat special appearance and they all look really good, plus you don't see a lot of them on the road....remove the stripes, it is just another truck, just my two cents. Nice truck BTW
