I pm'd Chad this afternoon for an update (last information was truck is to be built next week), and Chad believes that the truck was built today. If so, I'm getting a Wednesday truck! That is the best build day. I'll follow up with him next week to verify and learn about delivery.

why is Wednesday the best build day? certain technician work that day?

I think he means that cars built on Fridays had distracted employees work on it, and Mondays had hungover people...I don't think that is the case; certainly not any more. Building a car is a precision operation nowadays.

oh ha.. that's funny. I'm sure most things are now automated, hopefully I don't have homer simpson building my truck lol.. that can be a disaster any day of the week.
