Default 2016 Ecoboost Reliability Question

I'm thinking of trading my 14 5.0 for a 16 Ecoboost that's a demo. Do these engines have any problems? I hang in the other group on this forum so I haven't read any threads here.

Thanks for any insight guys.

A simple search will bring up more threads then you probably want to read.

I think he answered your question.

And,you wanna trade a 5.0 V8 in on a hair dryer?
Sorry,I mean,a V6?
Life is about success, moving forward, upgrading, going bigger, not down grading.

Also to touch base on EB reliability again,Google is your friend.Just don't Google it for too long or the device your using may start to rattle, knock, misfire, shudder, send a rod through the side of it,and get no respect.

Couldn't resist

My advice? Keep your current 5.0 V8 or get a 2016 5.0 V8

@BUILTTOLAST - I think it might be more credible if you actually own an EB, eh?

If there is nothing wrong with the 14 5.0, I don't think it would be a good choice, but that's just me. Lots of folks have done it and are very happy. I have a 13 5.0 Lariat & was very interested in a 16 2.7 until I read about the TSB on the 2.7 & smoke/burning oil. But also some (not mine) 5.0s rattle & get replaced.
Pays your $$$, takes you choice.
Good luck with your decision.

Personally, I liked the way my 2010 and 2013 drove better than the 2016. Unless you really need to trade, I wouldn't.
