Default 2015Hood alignment

Has anyone else had any problems with hood alignment. have to take mine in 9-1-2015 for cooled seats and hood alignment. Scares me about them chipping the paint, and them adjusting the fender to get it right, when it is where it needs to be already. They already tried to adjust it at factory, paint knocked off on nuts on hood hinge

Well I did see another member on this forum or another, can't recall which exactly, his issue much worse. He had a Red 2015 XLT or Lariat and the hood latch was only attached by one bolt!! One had fallen out!!! He noticed his hood moving quite a bit, and initially thought it was just flexing. Finally he checked it out. I think he was glad he discovered the problem before it became serious.

Now yours, if you have some really conscientious individuals do the work, they should be able to adjust without any damage. But I would take photos before they repair and stress the importance and concerns before they touch the truck. And if you could meet with the individual/s who are actually going to do the work, they should be able to address your concerns.

Now on the other hand, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Your call.

Enjoy your new truck!

Its just a little too close, maybe a 1/16 away from fender. I am concerned later down the road that it hits and chips the painton the fender and the hood

The dealership will not / cannot fix your cooled seats, until the TSB comes out, and parts are made available.

Seriously - don't let them troubleshoot on your truck.
