Default 2015 XLT vs. 2016 Lariat

Can't make up my mind. If I spend the money for a lariat then I'd rather get a 2016. Or do I save $10K and get a 2015 XLT

The big differences to ME is: push button start, sync 3, auto dual climate control.

The xlt I'm lookin at is a sport and I do prefer the carbon fiber over the wood look.

Any thoughts to help?

If your asking opinions mine are:

Push Button start is kind of nice...

Sync 3 is a decent upgrade....

Dual climate control is really nice for me since my body temp runs hot and my wife is always freezing...

Saving 10k dollars would put a huge smile on your face everytime you make that payment.

Personally the 10k wins.

Allot of the same thoughts I have and it's why I can't decide. I'd hate to get a large bonus or big tax return and kick myself for not getting the lariat.

Part of me also feels the xlt is more of a truck, not so fancy

Don't forget the auto 4WD.

My views on the carbon fiber is that in a few years it might look cheesy, whereas the wood should stay classy.

I put a stop order on the check just in case but it's taking forever to deliver the truck so I'll just say it took too long.

FWIW I think the Sync III is going to be a bit of a disappointment for a lot of people. I have the QNX based system on my 2016 Harley RGS and I like the Sync II better in the F150 XLT. It is a more polished system with fewer glitches. I wouldn't get spooled up about it too much.

cloth vs leather
interior lighting
dash gauge cluster

those are a couple other things to consider.

Why not go with a 15 Lariat? You can get one off a lot and save $5000 off the best deal you can get on a 16 at the moment.
