Default Is a 2015 worth it?

I have a 2014 with the roof leak issue. Taking to dealer for third time tomorrow. Really like the features of the Ford's compared to the other trucks. I went from a Tacoma to the f150 and it was like night and day in terms of options. Running out of patience with roof leak. Would it be worth it to trade for 2015 f150 or should I consider going back to Toyota? Just glancing at this forum on the 2015 f150 and it seems like it has a ton of issues.

I think if you buy later in the year some of the issues found early on are fixed and you get much better rebates or discounts off the vehicle. Also when people complain they do it on a forum so your going to see a disproportionate amount of issues. I am happy with my 2015. I also previously had a Tacoma and I did like it but I would say I am much happier with the F150.

Wait for the 2016. Think a lot of people are having different problems just depending. But think ford is trying to work it out by stopping the release of the last vehicles to fix the problems before the consumer gets the it. I just took my truck to the garage yesterday because it keeps leaking water from the A-pillar. Hope they can fix it. Took pictures while driving to show it does in fact leak as proof.

I also had a Tacoma but I gotta say them damn seats are so uncomfortable no matter what year/model you get. Had a 2004, family has a 2013 same awful seats. Probably would not go back until they correct that problem along with being so behind on the times.

Waiting won't do anything in my opinion - there's lot's of folks with NO issues and very happy. I had a 2013 SCREW FX4 5.0 fully loaded and had to have the entire sunroof replaced because it would not open/close. These things aren't perfect no matter which year. It's not like ford is going to do any major re-design after this first year. Everything will be cosmetic, or small feature improvements from now on.

I'm one happy customer with my Platinum.. No matter what forum you visit - you'll always find someone having an issue with their vehicle.

I went to a 2015 from a 2013 and the difference is night and day, the truck is a lot quieter and smoother. I opted for the new 2.7 ecoboost and the motor has quicker response than the 5.0 that I had and seems a lot quicker. The ride in the 2015 is undeniably much better than the old style.

I went from an 08 to my 15KR. Other than the seat cooling issue I love my truck. I have had not one other problem. Reading the forum you would think these trucks are junk. I am a car guy and I am fairly picky but no issues here. I think Ford did it right.

I think getting in on the last 2015's will save you a lot of money over going for the first 2016's. That said, if you really want a 2016 you should wait. It's not much longer of a wait.

I didn't, Picked up my truck yesterday!

F150 impressed me + a killer deal. Who else has 170 degree suicides?

I think overall the 15 F150 is pretty nice if the dealer gets my issues fixed I will feel alot better about it. Seat AC and Transfer Case is my two problems. I have the moon roof and it's solid and does not leak at all. Sorry to hear that your 14 model leaks. My wife has a moon roof in the 09 CRV and it has never leaked either.

I'm very pleased with my F150...but I'm a Ford man...would never own anything else. Here in the northeast the GM's are $4-5k less then Fords...That always bugs me...But you get what you pay for...Right ?
