Default 2015 Trans Fluid Changes 150k

Wow, was just browsing the maintenance schedules for the 2015 F150 and they don't schedule a transmission fluid change/flush for 150k. Not being familiar with F150's between 2002 and 2015, is this something new? Seems like a long way to go before changing the trans fluid.

Thanks. That's pretty impressive. As a long term owner I'd likely change it sooner too.

The Tundra is service less. You are never supposed to change it. I guess tranny fluid is much better these days.

Go figure. I had my '02 trans flushed at 30, 60 and 90k. Trans took a crap at 110k.

Yeah a lot of manufacturers have long intervals and its been that way for a while.

Lots of people here claim this is not good and are obviously much smarter than the engineering team at Ford, GM or whatever and in turn claim that you should be changing it every 30,000.
