2015 lift kit availability
Anybody have some thoughts on how soon the aftermarket will have a lift available for the 2015? Does it usually take a year or two after a new model year or do they get moving pretty quick?
I want to get a 2015 but I want to roll in a lift and tires on the invoice.

What has to happen is the aftermarket has to get their hands on a 2015 and compare things and confirm what works and what may need to be changed. I would be willing to bet at least some parts have to be changed and it's going to take some time to figure it all out. Leveling kits should hit the market pretty quickly but suspension lifts are gonna take more time

BDS just recently released the 2.5" and 6" kits for the 2014 model F150. Prior to a couple weeks ago, they only had the 4" available because Ford tweaked the front end a bit. Long story short, they went to a double shear lap design that didn't allow BDS to use their gas strut design they currently use on '09-'13 models with the 6" kit. The new kits use spacers. I doubt Ford will change much from '14's design into the 2015's, but as mentioned by jmeo, BDS has to get their hads on a 2015 to reverse engineer and test fit parts. Pending Ford doesn't change anything, 6 months is a pretty safe bet, but it may be longer depending on how long it takes the R&D department at BDS to do the work and testing required

Any modification of the OEM suspension "Could" void your warranty on a suspension related issue...

Apparently it's a certification that they are approved of that states they adhere to factory or better than factory standards. I believe only 3 lift companies are pert if the certification. We all know how dealers are and most if not all try to get out of any liability the minute you put a aftermarket spark plug in even if it's a suspension problem lol.
