I'm a half hour from the plant and my truck was built yesterday. I wish I could go pick it up and drive it to my dealer to do the paperwork.

In Motor Trends article on the MPG ratings today, "Ford also announced that the aluminum trucks should be arriving in dealerships soon, and that some customers will be driving around new F150s as early as next week".

I would guess they can ship close to what the daily production number is or they'd build up a backlog pretty quick. And, it's a complete guess, but they're probably prepped for the initial push and have extra train cars/trucks ready. May be wishful thinking.

Just curious to hear what you guy's dealers are telling you. Mine (while a great guy) hasn't been that forthcoming or providing me with information during this process. He continues to act like he has no clue when my truck will be here (built 11/13). In fact, if I solely relied on him, I would STILL not even know my VIN!!!!!!

A little frustrating but I guess I understand... He has cars to sell this weekend. But you'd think I'd get some love for this 58k purchase....

Curious to see if any of your dealers have any more information on when yours will be on a train or an eta to your dealership.

THANKS,

THANKS,
My sales guy is pretty cool. He texts when he has something new, also responds very quickly, so no issue there. The problem was a long lag period this past month of no new information. I think we only talked once.

I spoke to him yesterday and he knew about the shipping green light, but still said mid December delivery. My sense is he under promises though.....

THANKS,

Called my dealer yesterday to see if he had any info about shipping yet and he did not know anything. From what I am seeing they do not watch this kind of stuff as closely as we are. Which is understandable considering they have everything else going on. To put as much attention into one vehicle as we are wouldn't make sense. I'm going to keep hounding him and Brittany and see what I can get.

My guess is that the shipping process that Ford uses has not changed, so they should be able to send out 1000 or so a day. It really sucks that the COTUS site doesn't work for our trucks so that we can see the process.

Thanks guys, really appreciate it. Let's all keep keeping everyone informed on ship information and etas. Can't wait to see which one of us gets his first!

Thanks again
