Your truck looks great! I just picked up a 15 xlt in the same color. I was curious how you like the weathertech mud flaps? I've been trying to find someone that has them but they don't seem very popular. How was the install? Do they seem well made/sturdy? Do they mount to the plastic lip on the wheel well or to the aluminum fender? Sorry for so many questions about something as basic as mud flaps just debating between oem and the weathertechs.

There are four wing nuts that you have to remove near the front of the bed. The top weighs about 40 lbs making it pretty easy to unscrew Ann's lift off. 5min process. Pretty easy to line up and put back on also.

They screw into some pre-existing holes (I assume for the OEM flaps) and an additional lever that tightens against the Aluminum body. I like them a lot and only 5 min to install each.

Pics of the wing nuts. This is the passenger side. Two more on the driver's side.

I wanted plenty of room for future 35x12.5x20 tire purchase. Also, based on what I have seen on this forum these would leave the truck almost exactly level (which it did, slight .25" rake). I don't usually have a lot in the bed so I don't need to worry about sagging the rear end under a load, but I might go with some adjustable air springs in the rear for when I do get a large trailer/boat/camper/etc... I can't believe how different the truck looks with the level. Night and day difference.
