Default 2015 Pillar Handle

Any idea if the drivers side handle might work in a 2013? I still have not seen a mod or any option to getting a handle on the drivers side of my truck.

Not likely...I suspect the A-pillar stamping/extrusion shapes between the two vehicles are too dissimilar for a retrofit.

I haven't seen the new handle, but aren't most handles just mounted to the trim piece? certainly not the a pillar frame?

There may be some interference with the airbags if they are in the a pillar but otherwise, besides jacking up your trim piece and possibly having it buckle since it doesnt have the proper attachment points if you put too much weight on it...can't see why you cant add one?

Its good they added it back, but everyone seems to get along just fine tugging on the steering wheel to get in.

Not usually. Trim clips couldn't support the load.
