Hmmmmmmmmm.......moonroof is only available on the SCREW. And Max Tow option is not available on the 2.7 engine?
There is a payload option for the 2.7tt - It has a 9.75" rear end.
Does that mean you can't get the big gas tank with the smaller engine? I love our 36 gallon tank when I am towing our TT.
I think 33 gal is a stand alone option for all trims.
And if the below is the case, then they ARE making a mistake in the offered configurations. There seem to be a LOT of short bed SCREWS currently on the lots, and some with the Max Tow.

Payloads seem really good so far. I have my eye on the 145" supercab with the 2.7tt payload. 7000 lb GVWR is really like 7700 lbs with the old models. Adding to that, the RAWR should no longer be a bottleneck with the 9.75" rear end.
(edit: I was thinking a 10.5" 4500 lb axle, but RAWR should still be good)
I hope the 5.0 gets the same payload option too. 5th wheels will be no problem with the 145" supercabs at all.
Finally for the long truck fans, Heavy payload looks to be very nice as well.
GVWR is 7600 lbs for the XL and 7850 for all others. Remember, weight savings will be OVER 700 lbs for the long trucks. This is like having an 8300 GVWR for the XL and 8550 GVWR for the XLT+.

3.73s only with HD payload as well. So a new rear pumpkin for the other units? Save a few lbs? If you are towing 80% of the max tow rating will performance actually decrease with a 3.55 rear end, vs current 3.73? Does 700lbs balance that out when towing 9,000+? Perhaps?

That's why I traded my 2011 XLT EB for a 2012 Lariat EB Supercrew 4x4 with OR Package...3.73 w/ Electric Locker Rear. If you plan on adding a bigger tire/lift...like many will with a 4x4...you can do it without a gearing change for the most part.

For the gearing concern with the new FX4 package I think that will just be the base (as in you cant get a FX4 without the e-locker but can choose your ratio from that).
Other axle change I am seeing is more use of the 8.8 inch gearset. The only way to get the beefier 9.75 that comes almost across the board on our current F150 the only way we will be able to get it soon is with the HD payload packages (both 2.7 HD Payload and regular HD payload). This however seems to conflict with some other packages that might be nice along the way.
The outcome here is a rear axle that currently supports 4050lbs down to a 8.8 inch that can only support 3500lbs. I am pretty sure that 550lbs of the weight loss wont be over the rear axles so just something to keep an eye on when the build and price comes along.
