I think you're right and I misread what he wanted. TBH, the 8" screen in the dash is really a "luxury" feature, and I don't see it in the XLT. Now the "SYNC® with MyFord Touch® (8” LCD touch-screen in centre-stack, 4.2” LCD Driver configurable LCD Productivity screen in instrument cluster)" with optional nav in an XLT is a big deal. Plus, the XLT sport package for black interior and console shift is a welcome addition.

Just got mine ordered by the dealership! Can't wait!
Now, we're not going to get daily updates about how it isn't here yet, are we? LOL.

I'm looking at:
Platinum Screw 4x4 145"
Wow! That's a pretty huge price increase... Every box checked on a 2014 Platinum is about $56K. Almost a 15% jump? I know it's apples/oranges, but that's as much as a SuperDuty Platinum WITH the $8,500 diesel upgrade!
Any more details on what options that includes?
Platinum Screw 4x4 145"
- EcoBoost 3.5L, 3.55 gearing
- Moonroof, FX4 tailgate step
- Guard Metallic / Black Leather

Where they able to enter an order with pricing?
As of a few hours ago, my dealer couldn't actually order a truck. They can open the 2015 in their order system, but you can't actually select any options yet, and no pricing.
They are going to try and enter an order for me again tomorrow (or whenever it comes online)

The FX4 situation makes a whole lot more sense now that I've taken a look at the order guide after trying to piece it together with pictures of trucks.
So the FX4 and the XLT/Lariat "Sport" package are two different packages, but the Sport package has the same theme as the previous FX4. So you can either option the FX4 off-road package with the sport package, the FX4 package without the sport package and the other way around.
I kinda like that actually, since you can order the sport package without having to pay extra for the off road stuff that some people don't want. I imagine you can also option in a LS diff on the Sport package if you so choose.
