This little guy is the reason I stepped up to the 301A and added MyFord Touch. I will mirror my GPS app (Navigon) from my iPhone or iPad.
I read you can leave the cameras on anytime (any speed), is that not the case? I would like the rear view to see the hitch when my travel trailer is in tow. I also have a camera to attach to the rear of the trailer, could come in handy when changing lanes at highway speed.

Yes you can but only if you use the extra camera hook ups on the back of the lockpick module there are 3 of them. I did not use them as I have the factory 360 cameras. So if you use the jacks yes you can view @ any speed. If you don't than 8mph it cuts off. I'm in touch with a tech guy name Carlos who is working on a software upgrade. to fix this it only affect those with the 360 cameras.

This is the info I got from them today...seems very cool, particularly the mirror and navigation from phone. Buying this set-up and all it's capabilities is far cheaper than just the factory $700+ navigation option from Ford. I'd like to get more info and pictures on the install from the OP!
Nick,
Thanks so much for the information. Great News! Both the MyTouch LockPick and the MyTouch “AIR” LockPicks are compatible with your vehicle.
The MyTouch LockPick will allow you to activate NAV-entry in motion, Video in motion of the factory A/V Inputs (if equipped), as well as allow you to add up to 3 additional cameras (rear, front, and a secondary rear as well - for hooking up your fifth wheel, for viewing behind a trailer and more). With the LockPick installed cameras will have the ability to be viewed automatically as well as on demand while the vehicle is in any gear.

The MyTouch “AIR” LockPick will allow you to activate NAV-entry in motion, Video in motion of the factory A/V Inputs (if equipped), as well as allow you to add up to 4 additional cameras including rear, front, turn signal activated blind-spot cameras, and a secondary rear for hooking up your fifth wheel, for viewing behind a trailer and more… all viewable both automatically or manually on demand.
The new MyTouch AIR LockPick also has many multimedia features including built in Wireless "AIR" streaming and phone mirroring for both Android and iPod/iPhone/iPad! This will allow you to mirror and view your Apple or Android device directly on your vehicle's Nav screen for both audio as well as audio/video streaming. The LockPick also includes RCA A/V inputs for the connectivity and video play of any external DVD/BluRay or any other video device that connects via RCA [red, white, yellow] Composite Video as well as A/V outputs for the output of an audio/video signal to external headrest or drop down monitors.
Lastly, the LockPick is equipped with a wireless remote control with “One-Touch” button activation of ALL the LockPick In-Motion features. Simply click the corresponding button of the desired function on the remote and the LockPick activates the correct radio channel or audio/video signal and enables the In-Motion functionality!
I have included the link below regarding the LockPick product for your vehicle. If you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know at the info below. Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you.
The features for the MyTouch AIR LockPick as well as a video demonstration can be viewed at http://www.coastaletech.com/mytouchair.htm.
Regarding your specific questions, the Mytouch AIR LP uses the wireless remote for all switching back and forth. Simply hit the button on the remote and whatever feature of the LP you want pops onto the screen. Secondly, both of the LP options above offer video in motion of factory A/V inputs without speed restriction. All pics and instructions that I have are available on the website.

I didn't take any pictures. install was easy 2 screws in center speaker and 2 screws on top of radio bezel and 6 screws to remove radio itself. 30 min took me a little longer because I ran rca cable to the headrest monitors.
