I'm highly interested in the actual numbers. I love my fuel efficient GLI right now, but I want to get rid of my old F150 and the car. Ha

I need a fuel efficient truck for snowboarding and long hunting trips. My current truck is only 12-15mpg
There is absolutely 0 chance the new F150 gets 30mpg! The 2015 mustang with 2.3tt is rated at 31. I doubt it is even 28.

I am a little disappointed with no change in the 3.5 TT power ratings. A little tune tweaking would improve the numbers and the driving. I would also like some details on the improved cooling that allows the center mount licence plate. Bigger IC, remove blocking plates, relocate the IC higher up?

Considering the severe condensation issues, I don't think cooling ever was an issue. I think it would have been just fine with a center mount license plate from the beginning.

So according to you.... PRINTED and tested MPG figures is opinion. A video towing test is opinion. A mid level engine (5.0L) should compete with the 5.7L premier engine is opinion. A "all new" tundra revealed last year with NO powertrain upgrades is opinion. Thanks, I'll make a note of that

As far as the low MPG i believe the higher optioned tundras come with 4:10 rear gears, larger tires and a much higher tow rating than any 5.0L equipped truck. If toyota wanted to take the ***** off their truck to get marginally better fuel economy they would. With their sales being what they are, probably doesnt fit in the business model.
I think what Toyota has done is built a 3/4 truck but marketed it as a 1/2 ton.

might feel way more torquey but those gears help in that department because it is not way quicker than the 5.0 (a little quicker sure but...gears)

It's more than just gears. The toyota will out hustle the 5.0 in every application all day every day. But it's a bigger engine so it should.

How??? It makes less torque than Ram, GM and Ford. Less HP than Ford, RAM or GM's 6.2L. Please don't tell me you bought into their fire ball uphill tow commercial? The 3.5L EB waxed it in a video towing up the Gauntlet. It doesn't have the payload or lb capacity of a Ford Max tow. Have you seen their frame twist like a twizzler ? It is anything, but a 3/4 ton. Lets see what it could handle against the F250, 2500's of GM and Ram. It wouldn't be pretty
