I just don't like how they continued the black down onto the bumper. It would look so much better if the bumper was blue like the rest of it.

And about the flat black. They are probably just trying to offer what so many people are doing themselves - painting things flat black. Look how popular the 'black it out' trend is with guys rattle canning numerous parts flat black.

The same way most manufacturers hopped on the black wheel trend years ago and started offering them from the factory on most of their models, Ford sees so many guys painting their grills and other stuff flat black so they offered it

I guess people don't realize Ford builds for the masses. They aren't custom building a truck specifically for "YOU". Jeez, if you don't freaking like something like the continued black bumper, go to a body shop and get it painted.

People need to get over their entitlement issues like they are entitled to have everything they want. You don't like it, fix it yourself or go buy something else.

I am in total agreement with this statement.

What I have found in my own personal experience, is that the people who have enough time to spend on a forum such as this........(Myself Included) will nitpick every detail about the new truck/car/van/4 wheeler and then just customize it anyways. I think that is what helps the time pass until it gets here. It is very entertaining to read the complaining and then in the very next post that same feature gets ultimate praise. Kinda like the chrome piece on the platinum tailgate. Alot of bashers on here and that chrome piece was one of the things I like the best about the truck.

What is kind of funny is that Ford focus group tests every little detail and depending on the people involved, they could approve the most hideous features that we here on this forum would just tear to shreds.

So I guess its different strokes for different folks.

I got to see a 2015 2.7L recently and the truck looks so much better in person. I can wait to get my hands on our 15 Race red 3.5L.

Looks pretty clean to me. Other than the fact it's been lowered.

Found this one on Mustang 6g. Like what I'm seeing but not digging the rims on the black truck much.

Pre-production. That's a great looking truck - the rims. Being that it's a lariat sport with one of the higher packages(LED heads) those rims were probably just thrown on there because it's pre production
