2015 f150 body and funtional issues!!!
Just wanted to see if anyone else is having as much trouble with there truck as I am kind of getting tired of all the little issues.
1. Was had to have a rear driver door glass and motor replaced in first 100 miles due to it not rolling up all the way. This has been resolved now.
2. Moon-roof leaking terrible they have already replaced and still leaking bad, now they are sending an engineer out to see it.
3. Rear passenger door was out of alignment they tried to correct but was unsuccessful and now they are replacing the whole door which I am not happy about. Not sure if it will be pre-painted from factory or they have to paint. They said the door wasn't formed correctly at the factory.
4.Front passenger door has 3 major paint imperfections look like dirt or debris under paint. Really don't want repaint the whole door.
5. Driver side doors are not aligned and leaking air thru the top seal this will be looked at the next time I go in when the engineer comes to look.
6. The door chime/turn signal noise maker sometimes sound like its dying or going out.
I am just getting pretty upset after spending 60,000$ on a new truck to have this many issues I figured a few but seriously! I don't even have 1700 miles on the truck yet. Fortunately no powertrain related issue yet.
Dealer has had it as much as I have seems like and still more work to be done. I have an open case with customer service already but who knows what the are going to do about all this still waiting for an engineer to come look.
I think they should just start over and build me a new one! Yeah right!

2. Leaking into the drain tray is normal, if that's what yours is doing.
3. The door comes unpainted. Unless your truck is a solid color like straight white, this is what will need to be done: the new rear door will be painted, the front door will be blended (blended color, full clear), the cab behind the rear door will be blended along with the roof rail (this requires removal of the bed and rear bumper). The bedside may also need to be blended. Basically, if you replace a rear door it often requires re painting 3/4 of the side of a truck (depending on color).
4. The door will need to be repainted. Rear door and fender will need to be blended.
So, in the end, most of your truck will be repainted.

Great just what I wanted to hear....
The truck is tuxedo black so hoping pre-painted .
Moon-roof so far is just in the gutter but it is a constant stream in both corners where the front meets the back.

Is it draining into the cab?
The rest sucks and I wouldn't be happy.

Truck build not sure about I've had it since mid/late February.
Build plant was Dearborn.
The water does not leak onto headliner but is a constant stream just seems excessive!

Don't fall for the gutter system being normal, it's for when there's a failure it'll catch the water and drain to the back or front of the truck .. Kind of like a fail safe to prevent taking the headliner out as well .. My sunroof never leaks but I've experienced some problems with mine, power folding mirrors switch was missing, scratched glass and now wind noise in the windshield somewhere .. Ford is taking care of me but I've seen lots of issues with these 2015 .. My dealerships owner has a platinum that the sunshade in the moon roof quit working .. I've had more problems with my 15 in 1 month than I did 4 yrs in my old one .. I'm sure they'll get fixed though
