Gotta love the idiots in charge who decide that something that helps your engine burn cleaner will void the warranty.

Well if the truck never broke after warranty it would cut into sales. So they ban items that may help the life of a auto. I feel this may be why we see so many "no maintenance" or "sealed for life" items on vehicles these days.

Oh man I'm an idiot, sorry about that. I'm surprised our sponsorship wasn't canceled for such BLASPHEMY.

That's not a 2015 f150. How can the can be mounted there if the grill no longer opens with hood? Also I believe some of the pcv system has been changed...

2015 Ford F150 EcoBoost Install Video
The 2015 install is going to be a wee bit more involved I think. The Grill no longer comes up, so there is no real convenient place to mount. I'm gathering that y'all have not mounted a 2015 yet?? I'm ready to buy, but need to make sure I have an installation plan.

I'm becoming convinced catch can design is still in its formative stages, witness UPRs many design and installation changes in the past few months. I guess the first stage for RX is to recognize there's a difference between 2015 and earlier ecoboost engines.

I may be content for a while with drilling a small hole in the CAC, provided the changes to the intercooler still make that desirable. For an idea of what can come out of that tiny hole take a look at this youtube video.

With the tubing going in and out of the bottom of the CAC I dont see the hole being needed in the bottom. I dont think its going to have a chance to pool up inside their anymore BUT a catch can will help catch all that stuff from making its way thru the engine again. It should help with minimizing valve carbon deposit coking as well
