I just had a personal best in my 2.7 eco. I've been playing with tire pressures lately. I filled my tires to 37 cold and got 21.2 mpg hand-clculated. This is up from my usual 19.9-20.5mpg at 35psi.

Picking up a 5.0L in a couple of days with a 70 mile (mostly highway) trip home. I'll try to remember to post updates.

I just did 1100 miles all highway at 75mph.

It was 18.1 when I left, went up to 18.4 when I got back. I though it might go over 20 but no luck.

I guess my LT load range E all terrain tires kill it on the highway. They are stock size but 14 lbs heavier each. It does drive way way better on them, so oh well.

The 2.7 is pretty torquey and when combined with the 3.73 rear it does pretty good on the hills. I live in Atlanta which has a lot of hills and I average about 18 mpg with about 80% of that being in the city.

I am familiar with the Atlanta area and I guess I use the term hills loosely.

Here in the Appalachia mountains, it is exactly that, small mountains. We probably drive up and down the equivalent of Stone Mountain 5 times a day.

But, yes the 2.7 is a monster for sure. We just have to use the turbos far too often.
