I still think 1st and 2nd gear are a little short but it's nothing a small adjustment wont fix. I'm gonna drive it another 50 miles before I decide if I want to change it. Since I ordered three tunes from them, they said once they have it how I like it, they will update all of my tunes and resend them to me. Their customer service is awesome! If anything drastic changes again, I'll update y'all but 10/10 would recommend MPT hands down. Their ECM tuning is downright mean (and I haven't even loaded their 93 PR-X tune yet) and they know what they are doing with the trans, you just have to tell them what you want.

Thanks man. I did reach out to 5star like I said in a previous post, they simply never responded. And, I even wanted to buy an additional tune from them but to this day haven't heard back. I'm glad I made the switch.

EDIT: I should also add that I have not had any issues with the 5Star tunes, I only purchased the MPT for comparison.

I have a 5 STAR tune on my 2.7L EcoBoost and it definitely performs well. I have 87 eco, 87 perf/tow, 93 perf, 93 perf/tow and all are great. You could tell a bit of a difference with the 87 tune, but the big difference came from teh switch to 93.
Maybe the issues are limited to the 3.5L EcoBoost?
It pulls hard, I can sometimes get the tires to chirp from a decent rolling speed. The only slight complaints I have is that the 93 perf shifts a bit like a CVT. I'm sure it's great for efficiency and power/speed, but it makes daily driving a bit odd. Normal driving my RPMs are usually around 2,500 and only drop to maybe 2,300 on an up-shift.
The only other thing I have noticed is that sometimes when you get on it, the engine appears slightly "bogged" as if something isn't reading right or over-boost and the engine is retarding timing. This could be lower quality gas (as I sometimes go to a cheaper gas station near the train station when I'm in a rush).
However, 9/10 the pulls are solid, I just wish I had all-time 4WD to take better advantage of it. Haven't tried a 4x4 pull, but will definitely try that when the weather gets better here in the northeast.

Again more crap you offered nothing the only thing offered to me was from stage 3.
Hell it took 2 weeks to get someone to agree to the last dyno reimbursement. Because your dyno was so bad I wasn't paying to prove you wrong again. That your company didn't even pay for stage 3 did.
Man the constant lies are crazy.
I asked Jacob at least 5 times to tell me what he wanted as the pids he was telling me didn't exist. And I got nothing from you on your end.
If my datalogs were missing data why did Jacob tell me my logs where perfect and he wouldn't change anything.
More lies

Which pcm codes for the 3.5 eco have issues? Is this for 15 model year only or 16 too?
Thanks

Reason it was not solely from us is that your point of purchase was from Stage 3. We offered a refund for our components months ago until binary issues were corrected. These binary issues are software based, not hardware. Thus the PCM itself is not considered bad. Your conversations with Stage 3 showcase a different opinion of our tunes than showcased here. While you claim we did nothing for you, you did receive a refund for the tuner, dyno time, warranty, etc. You still have our tunes and warranty that we are backing for you. Once the upgrades are complete, we will send you the latest revision for you to test.
I was reimbursed for 1 dyno session not both. Let's be honest here. I was told in the beginning to ride it out that you guys could fix whatever issues that was going on. Hell you even told me you had a truck in your shop with the exact same problems. Then stage 3 called about 2 months after this started and said a fix was coming. That's why I didn't take a refund then. So I get said fix as I was told that you guys figured out what the problems was. Hell I was happy finally my truck would run right. It took 2-3 weeks for me to get back on the dyno. The whole time I was emailing stage 3 that I didn't feel it was making much more power than canned tunes. I was told to run the can tunes to see how it felt against yours.
Look at the dynos the canned performed just as well as yours. The only things I have ever expressed about your tunes is sucked.
Give me a bit of time and I will post on here the countless emails I sent back to stage 3 about how much they suck. This way I can prove once again I was unhappy with the tunes.
