Dealer just called to tell me that our 2016 3.5na throttle body is under recall - I searched this thread for "throttle body" and came up empty - is this something new?

Instead of sifting through all the pages of this thread. Is there an easier way to look up applicable TSBs or Recalls associated with my truck? Mainly this hard downshift issue. I don't seem to be having issues with my truck, but I don't really know how to induce or see if I have the issue or not.

Just get going in sport mode above fourth gear and at highway speed. If it downshifts into fourth when you let off the gas with a bang then you have it. TSB-15-0142

Thanks for this.

I'll be watching closely to see if my particular transmission issue pops up........

Anyone with a '15-'16 5.0L truck experience the rattling/tapping noise suggested in the TSB for the 3.5L only on initial start up? I have a '15 5.0L truck that as soon as you start it has what sounds to be the exact noise they're talking about. Stops after 3-5 minutes.

What you are most likely hearing is a drain hole they put into the end of the Y pipe to let condensation out. Mine does the same for a few minutes.

I have the same year and engine. The noise is coming from a drain hole in the exhaust. Water is getting blown out after sitting all night/day. It dries up or evaporates and then the noise stops. Completely normal

Strange my build sticker in the truck states that mine was built March 2015. My truck has the 5ltr as well and it made that rattling sound on cold start up as well. The funny thing is the Ford dealer could not figure out what was causing it. They contacted the factory and they were told it was a muffler clamp that was attached to the frame issue most likely a bunch of BS as it still makes the same noise. I had the transmission issue as well got it re-programed and so far seems fine.
