2014 or 2015?
I know this has been probably beaten to do death but here is my dilemma. Im currently stationed overseas until April when I will be returning to the USA. I can get a '15 Lariat 4WD with Luxury Package for 46k minus TTL or a '14 King Ranch for 47k out the door.
Would it benefit me to wait until April to see if they cut the price on the '14 KR even more, or just go with the '15 Lariat and call it a day?
Thanks for your input and suggestions.

I was on the fence between the 14 and 15 until I test drove a few 2015s. Even thought there are very good deals on a 2014 right now, I couldn't pull the trigger on that when a much nicer truck was hitting the market. I don't know that they'll offer more incentives on a 2015 in April, but you could use the incentive protection program to lock in what is available now and order one to your specs.

I am of the opinion that there is no program to lock in rebates on an ordered vehicle, only prices. When I bought my F-150 rebates were changing and the well experienced rep I use told me he was writing up the paperwork for that day because of upcoming rebate changes he knew were coming.

If i were you, i would go for 2015.
Think about it, you are already dropping $45k+ with just few grand more or even maybe not, you can get the 2015.
Get what you want otherwise you will regret. I'm not saying 2014 isn't a good Truck but why not just get the real upgrade and get 2015. I'm the type who prefers not to think back and q's what ifs...i like to do it the right from the beginning.
I can say for sure that after few months when we all start to see 2015 more and more, the 2014 will really look dated.

I have no seen anything current on this, all docs go back to 2011'ish and nothing updated since then. I'd love this, as I got a personal $750 but ends in January.

There's a number on that 2011 incentive protection program document -- call and ask. That's what I did. They checked with a supervisor and came back and confirmed the rebates were protected.

Just talked to the Ford Rep here and he's offering me the 2015 Lariat 4WD SCREW with the Lux Package for 45500 minus tax. Guaranteed to be able pick it up 27 April. Going in Monday to place my order. Thanks for everyones input, going to be my first truck.
