Default 2007 wheels on 2015 advice

Hello Thinking about putting on winter tires (2007 wheels) on this fall. I know I will need to change TPSM sensors Questions I have are. Will (f2gz1a189a) sensors fit on 2007 wheels? Will new sensors need to be programed to work? The 2007 wheels use lug nut covers. The 2015 wheels use a exposed lug nut which are to long for 2007 wheel covers. I think I can hog out the stops inside nut covers to make them work with the longer 2015 lug nuts. Does the 2015 steel wheels and lug nut covers use a shorter (1.21") lug nut? Thanks for any advice. Bill

Doesn't look like anyone got back to you. I'm trying to do the same thing. Here's where I'm at:
The older wheels fit on the truck and the 2015 lug nuts will go on the wheel fine. Obviously the older lugs do not go on the 2015 threads.
The 2015 lugs are longer and stick out farther, so the center cap doesn't pop on to the lugs.
I talked to Les Schwab and they sell the TPMS for $50 ish each. Tire rack has them for $36 each.
More info on the TPMS here:
https://www.f150forum.com/f118/tpms-314329/

Right now I'm looking for shorter 2015 lug nuts to see if I can get the cap on my old wheels. If I can, then I'm going to looking into the TPMS.

EDIT:
After messing with the 2015 lug nuts and the old center caps I was able to make the caps fit on the longer 2015 lug nuts. So now the caps fit and I'm on to the TPMS...

I got the sensors from Amazon for $110 ($27.50 each), also got the TPMS19 programmer there for $36.

The sensors fit fine on the 2013 F150 wheels I got and the 2013 wheels fit fine on the 2015 truck.

I haven't reprogrammed the new sensors since its too early to put the snow tires on, but did test the programmer by re-learning the existing sensors after a rotation, process worked at all 4 corners confirmed by the honk and message screen.

The 2013 wheels I got have exposed lugs, 2015 lug nuts worked fine.

Default wheels will fit,

studs are different size [bigger diameter] I have the same setup. need to find shorter nuts of proper thread size for 2015 . I also want to use wheel caps but 2015 nuts are too long, stick out too far. searching, searching.

Thanks for the info!... couple questions:
Did you install the sensors yourself and if so any tricks or tips?
Or did you just buy the sensors and take the wheels and tires to a tire shop?
Found a video online for a 2010 that says you push the "hazards" button 6 times to put the truck in re-learn mode... does that sound right?

So I was trying to find 14mm x 1.5 open end lug nuts to work on the older F-150 wheels but it didn't work with the center cap. The way my center caps clip on to the old lug nuts wasn't going to be the same with any 14mm x 1.5 lugs I found. So I almost gave up and bought new wheels.... and I still may. But I cut out some of the plastic on the inside of the sleeve that goes over the lug nuts and now the longer 2015 lug nuts fit and the the center cap snaps on fine.
I'm working on the TPMS now. I'll keep you posted.

I took the wheels, snow tires, and TPMS to Wal Mart and they did the work.

Used these instructions along with the trigger tool to reprogram the sensors. Note my truck has push button start, but applying the key method (instead of the push button) worked.
